Get to Know Michael Davis

Associate Attorney- Michael Davis is licensed to practice in all Texas State Courts and the Federal Court for the Eastern District of Texas. 

His primary areas of practice include personal injury, business and commercial litigation, estate litigation, wills and trusts and family law.

Born and raised in the Palestine area, Mike served as a Staff Sergeant in the United States Air Force from 1995-2001. Following his military service, he completed his undergraduate degrees at Texas State University in 2004, graduating summa cum laude, with majors in Philosophy and Psychology. 

He attended law school at Texas Tech University School of Law, where he received his J.D. in 2008. During law school, Mike was a member of the Texas Tech Law Review. His article, “A Lost Will, a Photocopy of the Original, and Two Snakes in the Grass,” won the Outstanding Article Award in 2007. 
Michael was also a member of the Board of Barristers, where he distinguished himself by winning several competitions and recognitions, including the American Bar Association National Arbitration Championship in 2008. 

Since completing law school, Mike has completed the American Board of Trial Advocates Advanced Trial Law Conference at Harvard Law School as a Graduate Fellow in the Class of 2012. He was selected to be a member of the 2012-2013 class of LeadershipSBOT, a program which prepares young lawyers to assume leadership roles in their communities and the State Bar of Texas.

Mike is a member of the State Bar of Texas, the American Bar Association, the Texas Young Lawyers Association and President of the Anderson Country Bar Association. 

Locally, Mike chairs the Zoning Board of Adjustments and Appeals for the City of Palestine, serves on the Board of Directors of the Palestine YMCA and is a member of the Palestine Rotary Club.
